2 months agoOur family had an incredible, gourmet experience at Tapas & Tequila. The quality and depth of flavor here truly set it apart from any other Mexican restaurant we've visited. The drinks were absolutely top-notch—the margaritas are a must-try! You can really taste the freshness in the salsa, which is made daily with real tomatoes. We started with the guacamole topped with roasted corn and bacon, which was easily the best appetizer we’ve ever had. The Barbacoa tacos were out of this world, and the churros were the perfect sweet finish to the meal. Special kudos to Jose and Hector for being so courteous and friendly; they went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience!

3 months agoSome of the best food and service I've ever had in a Mexican restaurant. The manager or the owner not sure which, stopped by our table, and our waiter was very attentive. Outside seating, small cozy atmosphere. The tacos were awesome, plablano soup awesome, cheese was thick not thin and runny like most of the other Mexican restaurants, the salsa was also some of the thickest and best homemade salsa ever. My whole family was very happy. Great drink menu to. yes just because the name says Tapas, understand that this is a full Mexican restaurant with a full menu. We will be back.

4 months agoThis place is an absolute gem. The photo in the pict isn't what it looks like now. It's been remodeled and looks beautiful. So nice to say we experienced an establishment that ticks ALL the boxes. But this place works hard and deserves it! The festive decor, super attentive friendly staff, creative yummy cocktails to AMAZING Mexican cuisine. We loved our experience from start to finish. Next time we're up in Blue Ridge, we're definitely going back.

4 months agoRestaurant had a nice local vibe. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! Food and drinks were delicious. We had the dip trio and quesabirria tacos. I also did a skinny jalapeño margaritas! Loved!!

5 months agoExcellent food and the place is so cool and comfy! Only downfall was the bland server, not that the service was bad, she would have been more pleasant and talkative. Overall a great place for excellent food and drink! Tapas, no sides. So you only get what you order! Margaritas were above par and our new place for a monthly Mexican outing!!

5 months agoWe love Hector and Tapas and Tequila! Food was on point and they serviced a party of 8 people super fast! We felt right at home! My mama coco helped me cope with our crazy 5 kids- come here to feel at home with fresh Mexican food!!

6 months agoWent for a friends birthday, on a girls trip and had the best time ever. Was fairly busy for a Monday evening but the service was great and the food and drinks were even better. Had the table side guacamole 100/10, we also got the tacos and vegan and vegetarian quesadillas all tasted amazing. Drinks were good and strong and the mama coco drink is worth every sip, my friend got the churros as a birthday surprise treat which also happen to be her favorite and they tasted so good. All the staff were amazing and very attentive, the owner even came and sat with us for a moment. Will definitely be back when we return.

8 months agoNew addition to Blue Ridge and it did not disappoint. We love Mexican and Hector and his staff went above and beyond. The service was top notch, the food was amazing and authentic and the environment was warm, fun and friendly. They made the guacamole right in front of us. Next time we come back for vacation we will definitely be back!! 6- stars
